President Muhammadu Buhari and wife, Aisha, on Saturday returned to Nigeria after attending the African Union (AU) summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

The president was in Malabo for the 16th African Union extraordinary session on terrorism and violent rxtremism in Africa.

During the summit, Buhari pledged to donate $3 million to the new humanitarian agency set up by the African Union (AU).

The president also endorsed the recommendation of setting up an African standby force against terrorism.
