PHOTOS: Buhari, Tinubu, Lawan attend Bisi Akande’s book launch
President Muhammadu Buhari, Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Senate President Ahmad Lawan, on Thursday, attended the book launch of Adebisi Akande, former interim chairman of the APC.
The public presentation of the book, titled ‘My Participations’, took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos, and his Ogun counterpart, Dapo Abiodun, as well as Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, and Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, also graced the event.
Buhari, in his remarks, described Akande a man of integrity who has played outstanding roles and impacted the country in public service.
Sanwo-Olu, who was the chief host of the occasion, praised Akande for his integrity, kindness and patriotism.
The Lagos governor added that the book would serve as a useful publication for students and keen readers.
