A retail filling station belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was gutted by fire on Monday afternoon.

According to a witness, the fire began when a tanker was discharging diesel at the station located on College Road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.

Fire fighters from Alausa station were able to put out the fire after 2 hours, however, a car dealer shop sharing fence with the station wasn’t speared as exotic cars got burnt.
