Francia Márquez, the vice president of Colombia, has arrived in Nigeria for a three-day official visit.
Marquez landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Saturday.
She arrived accompanied by her husband and some ministers in the Colombian cabinet.
A federal government delegation welcomed the entourage at the airport upon their arrival.

During the visit, Marquez is expected to deepen diplomatic and strategic relations between Nigeria and Colombia.
Her brief stay will see the two countries collaborate in areas such as governance, trade, agriculture, energy, education, and security.
