PHOTOS: Ekiti APC candidate gets ‘royal blessings’ as PDP rival steps down

Hakeem Jamiu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Irepodun/Ifelodun constituency II in the Ekiti state house of assembly, received royal blessings from Oyebode Olowookere, kabiyesi of Araromi Obo, on Tuesday.

Sunday Omosilade, his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, withdrew from the race on Friday.

Jamiu is optimistic of coasting to victory, given the performance of the APC in the last elections.

While President Muhammadu Buhari secured victory in the state, all the nattional assembly seats were also won by the ruling party.
