PHOTOS: Explosion rocks Kogi community | Buhari inaugurates state projects despite blast

An explosion rocked a community in Okene LGA of Kogi state on Thursday.

The incident was said to have occurred at a mosque near the palace of Ado Ibrahim, the paramount ruler of Ebiraland.

BUHARI INAUGURATES PROJECTS DESPITE BLAST

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari was in the state on Thursday, and he also inaugurated several projects despite the explosion.

The projects included the Reference Hospital, Okene; the newly-built Ohinoyi palace, and the Confidence University of Science and Technology in Osara.

In Lokoja, the state capital, Buhari inaugurated the Ganaja flyover, the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre, and the GYB Model Science Secondary School in Adankolo.
