Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), led some national commissioners of the agency to the presidential villa in Abuja on Tuesday.
May Agbamuche-Mbu, Abubakar Nahuche, Okechukwu Ibeano and Ahmad Muazu were among the national commissioners who joined Yakubu at a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Yusuf Bichi, director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS); Mohammed Adamu, inspector general of police; and Abba Kyari, chief of staff to the president; were in attendance.
Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, said the INEC delegation briefed the president on the outcome of the 2019 general election.
