PHOTOS: INEC offices attacked in Anambra, Enugu, Imo
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released photos of its offices that were attacked by gunmen over the weekend.
Over the past weeks, some INEC offices have witnessed a spate of attacks, leading to the destruction of some sensitive and non-sensitive materials.
On Sunday, gunmen came in three Hilux trucks and attacked the Awka office in Anambra state
This Anambra attack comes a few months to the governorship election which is scheduled for November.
Meanwhile, INEC has expressed concern that the attacks may affect its preparations for the 2023 general election.
