Journalists are currently outside the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral (INEC) awaiting the final pronouncement on the presidential and national assembly elections.

With their cameras and recorders set, the reporters are expecting the electoral body to make an official position on the elections.

INEC had summoned an emergency meeting based on the logistics challenges in some states. At the end of the meeting, Rotimi Oyekanmi, chief press secretary yo Mahmood Yakubu, INEC chairman, said a decision had been taken but that it would be communicated to Nigerians soon.
