Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo, and Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior, on Sunday, visited the Abolongo medium custodial centre in the state.

The centre was attacked on Friday night by “heavily armed” gunmen who killed some security operatives and freed over 500 inmates.

A female security operative is currently in critical condition as a result of the attack.
