As Nigerians were heaving a sigh of relief at the news of the release of abducted Greenfield University students, a group of bandits dealt the nation another blow.

Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School in Tegina town, Raffi LGA of Niger state, was the target this time and the gunmen kidnapped 156 students, many of which were children.

TheCable had earlier reported that Abubakar Alhassan, the school headteacher, said the abductors are demanding N110 million ransom before the children are freed.

Here is an update from Tegina in photos.
