PHOTOS: Parents throng school where 156 children were kidnapped in Niger

As Nigerians were heaving a sigh of relief at the news of the release of abducted Greenfield University students, a group of bandits dealt the nation another blow.

Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School in Tegina town, Raffi LGA of Niger state, was the target this time and the gunmen kidnapped 156 students, many of which were children.

TheCable had earlier reported that Abubakar Alhassan, the school headteacher, said the abductors are demanding N110 million ransom before the children are freed.
