TheCable has obtained pictures of some of the property linked to Abubakar Malami, former attorney-general of the federation (AGF) and minister of justice, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The anti-graft agency had traced 41 properties worth N212 billion to Malami as part of an investigation into his stint in office.
The properties — hotels, residential buildings, lands, schools, and a printing press — are scattered across Kebbi, Kano and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The properties in Kebbi state are valued at N162,195,950,000, while the assets in Kano state are said to be worth N16,011,800,000, with the value of the FCT properties put at N34,685,000,000.

The federal government has also filed a 16-count charge against the ex-AGF over alleged money laundering.
The charges were filed at the federal high court in Abuja.
Malami’s co-defendants are his son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, and Bashir Asabe, an employee of Rahamaniyya Properties.
