Remi Tinubu, the wife of the president, has hosted the members of the D’Tigress at the state house in Abuja.
The female national basketball team was hosted by the first lady on Monday following their fourth consecutive FIBA Women’s Afrobasket triumph over the weekend.
On Saturday, the team defeated Senegal 84-74 to achieve the feat.
Remi was presented with the silverware by Amy Okonkwo, who was adjudged the best player in the competition.

She lauded the players and described their achievement as an inspiration to Nigerian women to pursue their dreams.
