Seun Onigbinde, director and co-founder of BudgIT, a civic tech organisation, on Saturday, had a reading and signing of his book titled, ‘The Existential Questions’.
The book reading was held at RovingHeights Bookstore, Landmark Centre, Lagos.
The event, which was organised by Civic Hive, BudgIT’s innovation hub, was moderated by Temidayo Musa, programme officer, Civic Hive.
The event had in attendance Ayomide Ladipo as guest reader, Joachim Ebong and Odin Aleobua as panelists, while Onigbinde shared reflections on Nigeria.
Speaking with TheCable, Onigbinde said ‘The Existential Questions,’ which features over 34 questions and has 267 pages, is important as Nigeria prepares for the 2023 elections.
“It is my hope that this book starts a debate on the paths that diverge for Nigeria and which one we should settle on,” he said
“I hope generations ahead will read this book and marvel at how quickly Nigeria relieved herself of the baggage she carries, and emerge like China — from being the ‘sick man of Asia’ to an industrial powerhouse that has lifted millions from poverty and become the centre of the global industry.”
