PHOTOS: Support group holds Ramadan lecture in honour of Tinubu

The Indomitable Tinubu Support Organisation (ITSO) has organised a Ramadan tafsir lecture in honour of Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

At the lecture, which held on Saturday in Lagos, prayers were offered for the success of Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

In his opening address, Abdulbaki Lalogun, general manager of LagFerry and director-general of ITSO, prayed that the wishes of members of the group in the holy month of Ramadan will be accepted, and that Tinubu’s presidential ambition will become a reality.

“One of the aim of this special Ramadan lecture is to fortify our leader, Tinubu, ahead of the party’s primary and, subsequently, the presidential election come 2023,” he said.

Chief imams from all the divisions in Lagos were in attendance at the special prayer led by Abdullahi Akinbode, chief missioner of Jamahliy Society; Imam Abdulkadir, chief imam of Badagry division; Abdulhameed Adewole, chief imam of Ansar-Ud-Deen Itire; and
Sabrullah Abiola, chief imam of Epe division.

The Islamic clerics prayed for Nigeria and the success of Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

Sulyman Farouk Onikijipa, grand mufty of Ilorin, was the guest lecturer.

Also present at the lecture were Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, iyaloja-general of Lagos; Rotimi Abiru, member of the Lagos house of assembly; and Joe Ibokwe, special adviser, office of drainage services.
