PHOTOS: The moment police dispersed June 12 protesters in Lagos with teargas

Officers of the Nigeria Police Force on Saturday dispersed June 12 protesters in Lagos with teargas.

The protest which commenced around 10am had over 50 participants with presence of different media houses.

While the protesters were chanting anti-government songs, a senior police officer tried to calm the protesters but to no avail.

Two officers fired teargas towards the direction of the protesters as another officer started firing live bullets in the air to disperse the crowd.

The protesters are demanding better governance from the Buhari administration.
