PHOTOS: Two more batches of Nigerians evacuated from Sudan arrive Abuja

The ninth and tenth batches of Nigerians fleeing war-torn Sudan have arrived at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

The eighth batch arrived on Monday.

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission said the ninth batch of evacuees departed Port Sudan International Airport and landed in Abuja around 10am on Tuesday via Tarco Air with 126 nationals on board.

NIDCOM said the 10th batch arrived on Wednesday.

So far, 1,856 evacuees have returned home since the evacuation exercise started on May 3.
