PHOTOS: Udom visits Obasanjo, says ‘I’m ready to rescue Nigeria’

Emmanuel Udom, governor of  Akwa Ibom, visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday in his Abeokuta residence to formally inform him of his presidential ambition.

Udom told Obasanjo that he is ready to rescue and restore Nigeria, having had sufficient private and public sector experience.

Udom, a governor on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will contend with the likes of Atiku Abubakar, Bukola Saraki, Nyesom Wike, Ayodele Fayose, Bala Mohammed, among others, for the party’s ticket.
