Vento Furniture, on Tuesday, held a series of activities to mark the International Women’s Day.

Speaking on the significance of the event, Muaz Elhadad, the company’s general manager, commended women for their relentless contribution to the country’s socio-economic development.

He added that Vento Furniture places a premium on the development of women in society, evident in various initiatives undertaken by the company which are aimed at supporting women to maximise their potentials.

“Women are the pillars in our community and the core of humanity. As such, if you want one-year prosperity, grow grass; if you want 10 years of prosperity, grow trees, and if want 100 years of prosperity, invest in women,” he said.

“At Vento Furniture, we recognise the notable contributions of women in all spheres of life. This much we have experienced in achieving our strategic organisational goals.

“We join the rest of the world in celebrating women on this special day, and we pledge to continue to forge positive visibility of women.”
