Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state, met with Christiano Ronaldo and some players of Real Madrid Football Club in Spain on Monday.

Wike, who was accompanied by Boma Iyaye, the state commissioner of sports, toured training facilities of the club.

According to Simeon Nwakaudu, spokesman of the governor, the visit is part of the process for setting up of a Real Madrid Academy his state.
