Plateau United to play Cameroon’s Eding Sport in CAF Champions League
The four Nigerian teams taking part in African continental club competitions in the 2018 season now know their opponents.
Plateau United, Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, will face Eding Sport club of Cameroon in the first leg of the CAF Champions League.
Lagos-based side, MFM FC, will play any club that finishes in second place in the ongoing Malian league.
In the CAF Confederation Cup, Aiteo Cup winners Awka United will play host to Hawks FC of Gambia in the first leg in Uyo.
Enyimba FC have been given a bye into the next round where they will face either the winner of the Benin Republic league or Haifa FC of Guinea.
The preliminary stages of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup will take place between February 9-11, 2018 and February 16-18, 2018.
