The Nasarawa state police command says it has arrested an alleged notorious kidnap kingpin in his hideout in a forest in Doma LGA of the state.
In a statement on Sunday, Ramhan Nansel, the state police spokesperson, said the “notorious armed robber and kidnapper” was apprehended by personnel attached to the Doma police division.
Nansel said the operation was part of the command’s relentless onslaught against state criminals.
He said the suspect, who hails from Yelwa village in the area, was responsible for multiple kidnappings and robberies across Doma LGA and its environs.
