The police command in Lagos says its operatives have arrested two suspected armed robbers who specialise in attacking articulated vehicles on the Apapa-Wharf road.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, said the suspects were arrested on Tuesday.

Hundeyin said dangerous items like an iron cutter, jackknife, dagger, four spanners, a big sack and charms were recovered from the suspects.

“On Tuesday, about 2 p.m., a credible Intel was received by the Ijora Badia Police Division that some suspected traffic robbers were sighted on Apapa-Wharf Road Bridge by Marine Beach,” he said.
