All registered applicants are directed to visit police headquarters in their respective states of origin for the screening exercise.

In a statement issued on Saturday by Daniel Ndukwe, the Enugu command spokesperson, the CP said the ongoing physical and credentials screening for applicants for police constables jobs is absolutely free.

“I wish successful applicants from Enugu State good luck in the physical/credentials screening stage of the recruitment process,” he said.

“However, I warn them against falling prey to job scammers, who may want to defraud them of their hard-earned money in the name of assisting them to secure employment.

“The recruitment is purely a merit-based exercise that is absolutely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation.

“Additionally, they are to channel all inquiries to the recruitment help desk by calling or sending WhatsApp messages to 08069794453 or 09060483893.”
