The South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has inaugurated its Abia state chapter with a pledge to deepen President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” vision at the grassroots level.
At an event held to mark the inauguration, Belusochukwu Enwere, SERHA’s national coordinator, praised local coordinators for their commitment to mobilising support for the president’s development agenda across communities in the south-east.
Enwere assured attendees that the initiative would deliver on its promise to empower communities through economic support and social interventions.
As part of the launch, the group distributed business equipment such as sewing machines, grinding machines, hairdressing kits, and dryers to local entrepreneurs. Financial grants ranging from ₦20,000 to ₦200,000 were also disbursed to over 1,000 beneficiaries to help strengthen small businesses and support vulnerable families.

According to Enwere, 100 business owners will receive ₦200,000 each, another 200 will get ₦100,000, 300 people will get ₦50,000, while ₦20,000 will be given to 500 indigent families.
“These resources will go a long way to grow your businesses and help you earn a better living,” Enwere said.
He also commended Tinubu for setting up the South East Development Commission, describing it as a strategic move to boost the region’s growth.

Enwere urged members to sustain grassroots mobilisation, highlighting key areas the Tinubu administration has prioritised, including economic reforms, infrastructure development, national unity, education, and healthcare investment.
He said the Renewed Hope Agenda rests on three pillars: economic growth through innovative policies and infrastructure, improved security, and human capital development.
“As a collective voice, we are united in our determination to support His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for a second term. Together, we can build a brighter future for Nigeria,” Enwere told the gathering.
With its Abia state chapter now active, SERHA says it will continue to work towards ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches all corners of the south-east.
