Pro-Tinubu group unveils renewed hope campaign ‘to rekindle patriotism’

A pro-President Bola Tinubu group has launched the “fruits of renewed hope initiative (FRHI)” with plans to embark on a nationwide awareness tour engaging local communities, market women, youth groups, artisans, and professional bodies.

Speaking at the unveiling of the initiative in Abuja on Monday, Medina Anako, founder and chief executive officer of FRHI, urged Nigerians to “reject cynicism and embrace optimism”.

Anako said the initiative will also deploy media campaigns across radio, television, and social platforms to highlight government achievements, clarify misconceptions, and build public trust.

She said citizens must prioritise collaboration and collective effort to strengthen the country, noting that challenges facing Nigeria are real, but opportunities also exist.

“Following today’s unveiling, the fruits of the renewed hope initiative will embark on a nationwide awareness tour engaging local communities, market women, youth groups, artisans, and professional bodies,” Anako said.

“We will organise leadership clinics, empowerment workshops, and policy interpretation forums to help citizens understand and access available opportunities.”

She said the activities are expected to strengthen public confidence and rekindle patriotism.

“This moment calls for collective responsibility. Hope alone is not enough; it must be accompanied by action, sacrifice, and faith,” she said.

Anako said the initiative will serve as a link between government policies and the citizens.

“The fruits of renewed hope initiative is not a political movement; it is a civic awakening,” she said.

“We are here to interpret government actions, simplify policy language, and communicate the opportunities embedded within the renewed hope agenda.”

She called for collaboration with government agencies, civil society organisations, private sector institutions, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and the media.

“The media remains a vital pillar of democracy — the bridge between governance and the governed,” she said.

“Together, we can shape a new national narrative that celebrates progress, encourages accountability, and builds faith in the Nigerian project.”
