The Lagos State Chess Association (LSCA) Chess4Change event sponsored by Price Waterhouse Coopers makes its debut on Wednesday at Kings College, Lagos.

The event, which targets secondary schools students in the state, will hold between May 13 and 15.

Fela Bank-Olemoh, chairman of LSCA, announced that the partnership with the foremost accounting firm began last year with enlightenment campaign aimed at generating interest in the sport amongst students of secondary school age.

“We began this program with series of events such as the chess tutorials that had seasoned chess coaches teaching the students the basics of the moves and rules of chess,” he said.
