A quarrel between French couple on Friday saved them from the Paris attack, the Huffington Post reports.
In an interview with iTELE, Quentin Bongard narrates how he and his girlfriend escaped the unfortunate incidence that led to the death of 19 citizens.
“I went out with my girlfriend to have dinner at Le Belle Equipe, we were on the terrace, and we had a fight and I left.”
“Luckily we fought, because if we hadn’t, we would both be dead now,” he said.
When I left, she went inside the bar because she thought she needed to pay. And at that moment the guys arrived started shooting all around, she managed to hide behind the couch inside until the shooting was over,he recalled.
