It’s not every day that you will get to see a traditional ruler in shirts and fez-cap instead of the royal dress but in these pictures, Aminu Ado Bayero, the new emir of Kano, spotted the non-royal outfit.
The monarch also posed for a photograph with his mother who is a princess from Ilorin, Kwara state.
Bayero was appointed emir of Kano on Monday after Muhammadu Sanusi was dethroned by the administration of Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of the state.
A son of Sanusi’s predecessor, Ado Bayero was the emir of Bichi, one of the four additional emirates Ganduje created when he fell out with Sanusi.
