Trent Alexander-Arnold
Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool.
In a statement on Friday, the Spanish giants announced that a six-year deal has been agreed with the English footballer.
Alexander-Arnold joins Real Madrid on June 1 for the next six seasons until June 2031.
“The 26-year-old England international joins the club after winning nine trophies with Liverpool: Champions League (1), Club World Cup (1), Uefa Super Cup (1), Premier League (2), FA Cup (1), League Cup (2), and Community Shield (1),” the statement reads.

“Alexander-Arnold, who has spent his entire playing career at Liverpool, has been a full international since 2018 with England, playing in two World Cups (2018 and 2022) and one European Championship (2024).”
On May 5, Alexander-Arnold announced his exit from Liverpool, the club he had represented since age six.
The defender said he is ready for “a new challenge, taking myself out of my comfort zone and pushing myself both professionally and personally”.

He was expected to leave the Merseyside club after June 30, when his contract is scheduled to expire.
According to sources, Madrid had to pay a fee of around £8.4m to buy him out of the contract in time to play in the Club World Cup.
