The management of MFM FC has expressed disappointment over the team’s inability to win any of its last three matches.

In spite of the recent dip in form, Olawale Quadry, MFM media officer, says the team must defeat FC Ifeanyi Ubah in its next match and ultimately qualify for a continental tourney at the end of the season.

“We have yet to win a game in the last three league matches which is painful, it is not expected and we will put an end to that with FC Ifeanyi Uba game in Agege,” he said.

“It is a must win game for us, and we are determined to win in order to bounce back to reckoning and to our winning ways.

“FC Ifeanyi Uba have yet to record a victory over us before our 0-4 loss to them in Nnewi, so we are ready to have our own pound of flesh.

“At present, we don’t have any injury concern; all the boys are in top shape for the next match.

“Our players that went on national assignment are due back. Sikiru Olatunbosun will be back today and will be part of the team to play in the next match.

“The fans have been supportive and we are assuring them that we will put smiles back to their faces in our next match.”

In a bid to have a “firm control of the crowd,” the management of MFM FC has increased the price of match tickets.

“The V.I.P ticket will be sold for N1000. Any fan or supporter of MFM FC who will come to the Stadium wearing the team’s jersey will pay N500 to sit in the V.I.P stand,” Quadry said.

“Our fans who prefer to sit in the regular stand will either pay N200 wearing our jerseys or N500 without the club’s replica.

“We will like to say thank you for your prayers, words of encouragement, passionate support towards the team in thick and thin period.

“We will continue to work tirelessly to the end of the season till we achieve our set goals.”

MFM is currently fourth on the NPFL log with 34 points after 21 games.
