RenMoney announced as key partner for GOtv Boxing Night Jam

RenMoney, the microfinance bank, has been announced as a key partner for GOtv Boxing Night 34 Jam Festival. 

The festival, which will fuse high-energy musical performances with top-level boxing bouts, will hold on December 26 at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

Speaking on the partnership, Jenkins Alumona, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Flykite Productions, organisers of the event, said RenMoney’s involvement reflects its belief in the potential of Nigerian boxing and the growing influence of the GOtv Boxing Night brand.

He noted that the collaboration will enhance the festival’s organisation and overall delivery.

“We are pleased to welcome RenMoney, a leading fintech company, on board,” Alumona said.

“Their support helps us maintain the high standards that audiences expect and enjoy. This partnership underscores the confidence that leading brands have in the work being done to grow boxing and youth culture towards the elevation of their appeal.”

Six fights are billed for the GOtv Boxing Night Jam festival.

The bouts on the night will include two title fights, an international contest, and three additional showdowns.

Rasheed Idowu, popularly known as “ID Buster” and the United Boxing Organisation (UBO) African light-heavyweight champion, will face Ghana’s Nii Offei Dodoo.

Sadam “Baby Boxer” Oladipupo will take on Imole “System” Oloyede for the national lightweight crown, while Durotimi “Tiny” Agboola will defend his national super bantamweight title against Sadiq “Happy Boy” Adeleke.

Other contests lined up include the national lightweight clash between Segun “Odi” Gbobaniyi and Tobiloba “Smiling Assassin” Ijomoni; the super bantamweight meeting between Ezekiel “Touch” Seun and Toheeb “Full Tank” Hassan; Emmanuel “Ability” Abimbola will square up against Sodiq “Smart Lion” Suleiman in an eight-round light welterweight bout.

Shoday will also be live and performing his monster hits at the event.
