Residents loot COVID-19 palliatives in Plateau warehouse

Some residents of Plateau state on Saturday broke into a government warehouse, carting away COVID-19 palliatives.

The warehouse, said to belong to the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), is located at Bukuru, in Jos south local Government area of the state capital.

The residents carted away foodstuffs including bags of rice and cartons of noodles.

The incident comes less than 24 hours after hoodlums broke into the government COVID-19 warehouse in Cross River state on Friday.

Other warehouses containing COVID-19 palliatives in Lagos, Osun, and Kwara have also been looted.
