Tony Nwulu, a former member of the house of representatives, says the discord between him and Oke Epia, publisher of OrderPaper Nigeria, is being resolved.

The police had invited Epia for questioning over an investigative report on Nwulu and accused him of defamation

The report, which OrderPaper described as an “objective assessment” of  Nwulu’s records at the national assembly, had reportedly infuriated the ex-lawmaker who petitioned the police.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Nwulu said they found that the issue came about because of misinformation.

“Resolution of issues between me and Mr Epia on course. We’ve had a couple of sit out and discovered it was more of misinformation,” he tweeted.

“We’ve put recent altercations behind us in the interest of advancing good governance and journalism. I stand for #PressFreedom & #GoodGovernance.”

Epia had previously raised an alarm on the alleged threat to his life by the former lawmaker, an allegation that Nwulu denied.
