Reuben Abati to mark 60th birthday with launch of three new books

Reuben Abati, former special adviser on media and publicity to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, is set to unveil three new books in Lagos.

The book presentation, organised by Caltop Publications Nigeria Limited, will take place on Friday, November 7, at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos.

In a statement on Monday, Ayo Arowosegbe, managing director of Caltop Publications, described the works as “compelling, insightful, and relevant for our times”.

Arowosegbe said each book—Portraits: People, Politics and Society, A Love Letter & Other Stories, and How Goodluck Jonathan Became President—reflects Abati’s trademark eloquence, depth, and versatility, blending political analysis, societal commentary, and creative storytelling.
