Nuhu Ribadu, pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential election petition tribunal in Abuja on Tuesday.

Ribadu is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The tribunal considered a petition filed by Hope Democratic Party (HDP) and Ambrose Awuru, its presidential candidate.

The petition is one of the four challenging Buhari’s victory in the February 23 presidential election.
