Rohr, assistants arrive Abuja ahead Zambian trip

Gernot Rohr, Super Eagles coach, and two of his technical assistants arrived in Abuja on Sunday, as preparations kicked off for the World Cup qualifying match against Zambia.

France-based Rohr, who has now been provided with accommodation in Abuja, jetted into town aboard an Air France flight.

He was accompanied by Jean Royer, a technical assistant, and Nabil Trabelsi, video analyst.

The team’s backroom staff were early birds at the team’s Bolton White Hotel and Apartments in Abuja, with Salisu Yusuf, a coach, expected on Sunday evening.

Imama Amapakabo, his assistant coach is expected on Monday, due to his engagement with his club, Rangers FC who are competing to lift the Nigeria’s elite league trophy on the final day of the season game.

Players are expected in camp as from Monday, with training sessions scheduled for morning and evening, before their departure to Ndola on Friday.

The clash between the Super Eagles and the Chipolopolo, will start at 1:30pm Nigerian time on Sunday.
