Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr says the Croatian side is only better than the Nigerian team on paper.
Rohr said the Eagles will go all out against Croatia in their first 2018 World Cup game in Kaliningrad on Saturday.
“We admire this team, but we do not plan to watch them when we play against them, we hope to fight,” Rohr said during a press conference in Essentuki on Wednesday.
“They are all wonderful players, playing in biggest teams in Europe.
“On paper with their names, are much better than us. But sometimes on the pitch, it could be different.
“We don’t have their big stars, but we try to play collectively with our young team.”
The Super Eagles will also face Argentina and Iceland in Group D.
