Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that he is not just the best footballer in the world presently, but the best in football history.

The 32-year-old attacker beat Lionel Messi on Thursday to win his fifth Ballon d’Or award to equal the Barcelona’s ace haul.

In an interview with France Football Magazine, Ronaldo said: “I don’t see anyone better than me.

“No player does things that I cannot do myself, but I see things others can’t do. There’s no more complete player than me.

“I’m the best player in history — in the good and the bad moments.”

The Real Madrid star has won all the top football awards this year.
