Cristiano Ronaldo extends his stay with Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr till 2027
Cristiano Ronaldo has extended his contract with Al-Nassr for an additional two years.
The former Real Madrid striker and club legend signed the contract on Thursday.
Ronaldo put pen to the contract that would likely extend his Saudi Arabia sojourn to five years.
A statement on Al-Nassr’s website announced the renewal of the two-time UEFA Nations League winner.
”Al-Nassr FC Chairman Mr. Musalli Al-Muammar signed a historic contract with football star Cristiano Ronaldo in the Spanish capital, Madrid,” the statement reads.

”The contract extends until 2027 AD, and the player will wear the number 7 shirt for his club, Al-Nassr.”
Musalli Al-Muammar, club chairman, described Ronaldo as a model athlete for youths.
He added that the historic new deal will bring more success to the club and country.

”This player is a role model for all athletes and youth around the world, and with him at Al-Nassr, we will move forward to achieve more success for the club, Saudi sports, and future generations.
Ronaldo, in response, declared his excitement at renewing with the club.
Previously expected to leave the Riyadh-based club, the 40-year-old hailed the club’s vision as inspirational.
”The vision behind Al Nassr Club is very inspiring, and I’m excited to join my teammates. Together, we can help the team achieve more success. ”
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 99 goals in 111 matches for Al Nassr since making a surprise switch to the club in January 2023. He scored a brace for Al Nassr to win its first Arab Club Champions Cup in the same year.
