‘Ronaldo of Nigerian politics’, ‘He was never an APC member’ — reactions to Saraki’s defection
The news of Senate President Bukola Saraki’s defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has kept tongues wagging.
Saraki, who served his two terms as governor under PDP, said he was forced out of the ruling party.
While some praised him for his action, other said he betrayed the party. Here are some reactions.
Oshiomole retired the Edo Mafia of Anenih and the Igbenidion family from politics. A massive feat. Now he'll lead APC to retire Obasanjo, the Saraki Kwara dynasty, Atiku, Lamido and a host of others in the federal level.
