Rotary International appoints Ehi Braimah as regional officer in Africa

Rotary International has appointed Ehi Braimah, the publisher of Naija Times, as one of five new assistant Rotary public image coordinators (ARPIC) for the 2025-2026 year in Africa’s region 27.

Region 27 is part of Africa Zone 22, one of Rotary International’s 34 global zones, which is further divided into three regions: 26, 27, and 28.
This region includes nine Rotary districts spanning Anglophone West Africa and Egypt.

Tamunoibim Semenitari, the Rotary public image coordinator, announced the appointment and congratulated the new ARPICs and encouraged them to participate in the upcoming regional team learning seminar (RTLS) set for May 7–11 in Accra, Ghana.

Braimah joins Bassey Bassey from the Rotary Club of Uyo Urban, Olubisi Yomi-Layinka from the Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho Metro, Kwesi Kittoe from the Rotary Club of Winneba, Ghana, and Marwan Montasser from the Rotary Club of Alexandria New Era, Egypt.

Braimah brings extensive experience in strategic communications to his new position. He previously served as president of the Rotary Club of Lagos from 2018 to 2019 and is currently an assistant governor in District 9112.

He has also chaired the district public image committee for 2024–2025 and was the district secretary in 2021–2022, among other district-level roles.
