Sahara Group says it will push for Africa-led solutions to drive the continent’s energy transition at the 2025 Africa Energy Week (AEW) in Cape Town.

The summit, billed for September 29 to October 3, will bring together policymakers, investors, and industry players under the theme: ‘Invest in African Energies: Positioning Africa as the Global Energy Champion’.

Ade Odunsi, executive director at Sahara Group, said the conglomerate will spotlight “cooperation, innovation and sustainability” as the pillars for Africa’s energy future.

“Sahara Group believes Africa can shape a future that secures energy access for Africans safely, reliably, and sustainably by leveraging technology, innovation, and collaborating on policies,” Odunsi said.
