Samsung has launched its Galaxy S6 edge phone in Nigeria, signalling its availability in the Nigerian market.
According to Brovo Kim, managing director, Samsung West-Africa, the phone, which comes with carved metal, presents an opportunity for costumers to own the future.
“We are always proud of bringing the future to you now. With this phone, you can own the future,” he said.
“The product is based on listening and watching our consumers around the world. There are smart phones and there is the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.
“It is the world’s first dual-edge-screen phone that comes with intuitive and effective notification lighting with crystal clear pictures in dark conditions.”
Emmanouil Revmatas, Samsung’s director of information and mobile technology, who was delighted at the entry of the phone into Nigeria, described the phone as a problem solving phone.
“This phone is a demonstration of Samsung’s constant push to solve problems. To maximize the use of your phone today, you need a power bank, car charger, extra battery, mobile charger, etc., this Samsung Galaxy S6 solves all those problems,” he said.
“Three things differentiate the S6 from other phones. The design, described as an expertly crafted piece of jewelry; its social media ability with unique features; and super power charging. A 10-minute charge provides about four hours of usage time while it is fully charged in 85 minutes.
“It comes with rapid charging and has features for wireless charging with no cables. Just place your phone on the charger and it begins to charge with a Samsung wireless charging device.”
High point of the launch was a dramatic demonstration of the phone by Solomom Ojibeluwo and Stephen Okwara, both master trainers at Samsung, as well as a poetic rendition of love for the Samsung Galaxy S6 phone by Olubankole Wellington, better known as Banky W.
