Sanwo-Olu, Dangote visit proposed KOKO beach in Ilase

In a bid to boost the tourism potentials of Nigeria, a team of government and business moguls paid a visit to Ilase to assess construction work at the proposed KOKO beach.

Ilase is a town in Amuwo Odofin LGA of Lagos.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos state and Aliko Dangote were part of the team that toured the project on Sunday.

Also in attendance were Cecil Hammond, chief executive officer (CEO), Flytime promotions; Adebisi Adebutu, CEO & chairman Arbico Construction; Godwin Emefiele, central bank governor; Richie Shittu, founder & promoter, KOKO Beach Hotels & Resorts; Femi Otedola, chairman, Geregu Power Plc and Amaju Pinnick, President, Nigerian Football Association.

They also took a tour to Ibeshe/Ikaare beach to inspect the ongoing construction of Koko Beach Hotels & Resorts designed to boost the tourism potential of Nigeria. 

The Koko Beach Hotels & Resorts, on completion, will be a privately-owned beach.

The hotel and resorts will operate a shuttle service from designated docks on the Island.
