In an interview with NAN on Monday, Gabarin said flood has affected many communities across 17 LGAs and destroyed 2,062 houses and 6,000 farmlands.

Bauchi has been experiencing heavy rainfall in recent times.

TheCable had earlier reported how 20 hours of rain in the state on August 10 killed persons and destroyed farmlands.
