The senate on Tuesday approved the appointment of Opeyemi Agbaje as the new chairman of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).
Agbaje was confirmed alongside other nominees who will serve as national commissioners of the agency.
The confirmation followed the presentation of the nominees’ list during Tuesday’s plenary session presided over by Jibrin Barau, the deputy senate president.
Barau read out the names of Agbaje and the other commissioners who will form the newly constituted board of PenCom.
