The much-awaited 87th academic award hosted by Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) will honour the best films of 2014 on February 22, 2015.
The event, which is scheduled to hold at the Dolby theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, will be air live on ABC television.
Ahead of this, the organisers have launched a social media campaign involving seven artistes from different platforms.
Also known as Oscars, AMPAS will be presenting the awards in 24 categories.

Each winner is awarded a copy of a statuette, officially the Academy Award of Merit, better known by its nickname, Oscar.
The award, which is the oldest entertainment awards ceremony, was first televised in 1953 but now seen live in more than 200 countries.
Its equivalents, the Emmy Awards for television, the Tony Awards for theatre, and the Grammy Awards for music and recording, are modelled after the Academy Awards.
