Shooting Stars hold Rangers in Ibadan

Perennial foes Shooting Stars and Rangers settled for a 1-1 draw in their Nigeria Professional Football League match in Ibadan.

Edwin Eziyodawe put the visitors in the lead 25th minutes into the match after capitalising on goalkeeper Abiodun Akande’s error.

Tope Orelope equalised for Shooting Stars in the 38th minute from the penalty spot after Emmanuel Daniel kicked Nojeem Olukokun in the box.

Shooting Stars now have eight points from nine games while Rangers have 10 points from same number of matches.

In Port Harcourt, Enyimba of Aba stunned their hosts Dolphins 2-1 to record their first away win of the season.

Defending champions, Kano Pillars, defeated Abia Warriors 1-0 before the Umuahia home spectators while Sunshine Stars of Akure held their hosts, Nasarawa United to a 1-1 draw.
